April’s Friday Crafty Hours! $10 drop in fee plus materials fee as estimated below.

Every Friday at 6pm we'll host a craft hour focusing on a particular project. You’ll be guided through the proposed project and learn a technique or two, and be able to carry on after crafty hour is over. Very casual, very fun. We’ll plan to run specials at our wine bar to add to the festivities!

Apr 5: Knit a Cup Cozy

You’ll knit a simple cup cozy in garter stitch by selecting your favorite color(s) of yarn in YFK’s house stash and sew on buttons to make your cup cozy fit on a range of cup sizes. Bring your own needles in a range of sizes. Materials fee (excluding knitting needles): ~$10 (est.)

Apr 12: Farm Animal Weaving

You’ll learn how to set up a simple warp on an assymetrical ‘loom’, meaning on a farm animal-shaped wooden board. Then you’ll do simple weave on this loom with a range of yarn and roving. Materials fee: ~$15.

Apr 19: Crochet Charger Cable Vines

Bring your phone charger and crochet hook! You’ll crochet right onto your phone charger cable to transform it into a leafy vine. Bring a range of crochet hooks to be ready for a variety of yarn options. Materials fee (excluding crochet hook): ~12-15.

Apr 26: Sew a Pin Cushion

You’ll hand stitch and stuff a pin cushion and have the option to incorporate a base for your cushion. Materials fee: TBC but est. $15-20.

Event fee: $10 plus materials fee that in April is expected to range from $10-25.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund less credit card processing fee (effective 4/11/23) is provided for any cancellation up to one week before the class date. Credit towards another class is provided for any cancellation made from six days through the day before the class date. No credit or refunds issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund.
