Knitting 101 (Beginner)

In your first class we will cover how to cast on and knit. In subsequent classes we'll cover how to purl and bind off. You may come to one or multiple classes, whatever supports your learning. You can start at any time from the listed dates. This is also a good option if you learned how to knit in the past and would like a refresher.

Materials fee covers 1 skein of beginner-friendly 100% wool yarn + 1 pair wooden straight needles, or you can instead choose a project kit. We offer students 10% off the cost of class-related materials on the day of their class (can be used in advance for an upcoming class).

Teacher: Nathalie Tsai-Probst
Class Size: 2 - 6 students
Class Fee: $25 (for each class you choose to attend)
Materials Fee (for your first class): $25 for Kelbourne Woolens Germantown 100% wool and Ginger wooden straight needles OR $60-90 for Loopy Mango My First Hat or My First Scarf project kit with 100% merino wool, wooden circular needles, pattern and online video tutorial support. For subsequent classes, no materials fee necessary. Just bring your yarn from your first class.
