In your first class we will cover the chain stitch and single crochet. In subsequent classes we’ll cover half double and double crochet. You may come to one or multiple classes, whatever supports your learning. You can start at any time from the listed dates. This is also a good option if you learned how to crochet in the past and would like a refresher. This is a one-hour class vs. our two-part Crochet 101 course for beginners that meets twice for two hours each session.

$25 class fee plus cost of materials (yarn + hook). We offer students 10% off the cost of class-related materials on the day of their class (can be used in advance for an upcoming class).

Materials Fee (for your first class): $20 for Kelbourne Woolens Germantown 100% wool and Chia Goo bamboo hook OR we can help you pick from other yarn + hook options that are suitable for beginners. For subsequent classes, no materials fee necessary. Just bring your yarn from your first class.
