Are you a beginner knitter who is ready for more but not sure how to go about it? In these technique sessions we’ll cover one or a few related techniques so you can grow your knitting skill set and gain more confidence to get to your next level!
Each session will be offered twice a month. For most sessions, we simply ask you to bring worsted weight, light colored wool yarn and appropriate-sized needles, typically size 7 or 8. A pencil or pen and notebook may also be helpful if you like taking notes.
Overview of a pattern
Feb 22 or Feb 24
In this class we’ll go over a simple knitting pattern from start to finish to understand how patterns are typically structured, what each section of a pattern covers, and tips and tools you can use to follow a pattern with ease. No yarn/needles needed as this is more of a lecture format.
Please bring a pencil to take notes. We’ll provide a printout of a pattern.
