In this ninety minute class we will cover a few basic stitches, which is all you need to have fun and create lovely textile art! You’ll learn about materials, helpful tools and free reference materials, plus good sewing tips.

Immediately after class you are welcome to stay for an additional thirty minutes to keep practicing and we will be available to answer any questions that come up.

Beginner Hand Embroidery is offered on June 14 and June 28. In this class (June 28) we will have a slight emphasis on sashiko embroidery, but similar general content will be covered on both dates… and there is no need to sign up for both dates!

Class Fee: $40

Materials Fee: $15-20 for sewing needles, embroidery floss, linen fabric, and embroidery hoop (pricing depends on your selection from options we have available). You can use a 10% student discount for class-related materials, tools and sewing kits that you may also choose to buy on the day of your class.
