YFK is thrilled to welcome back basketmaker Wendy Jensen for another day of basketweaving!

Starting with a double spoked base with tapered secondary stakes , students will weave and shape the sides of this handsome, utilitarian round basket.  The basket is finished with a sturdy rim and leather side handles. Shaping, rimming, scarfing and lashing will all be taught.  Approximate dimensions:  13”D x 8”H.

Appropriate for all levels of weavers.

Workshop Fee: $125/student. Your payment confirms your spot. If the class is full, please call or email us to join the waitlist.

Materials Fee: $60/student, payable to Wendy by cash or check on the day of the class.

The total cost for this workshop is $185.

Workshop size is limited to 8 students, with a minimum of 6

You will have a break for lunch mid-way through the class. Lunch is not included in the Workshop Fee. You are welcome to order from our wine bar or stroll the Kingston Waterfront and grab a bite.

Registration will open 10/1 at 5pm on our normal class registration platform.

Cancellation policy for this event:

Full refund less credit card processing fee (effective 4/11/23) is provided for any cancellation up to one week before the class date (i.e., 9pm on Fri 11/1/24) if we can replace you with another student.

You may transfer your spot to a friend by updating us by email and sharing the full name and email address of your replacement. We will confirm the change by email in turn.

Credit towards another class is provided for any cancellation made from six days through the day before the class date. No credit or refunds issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund.
