Knit a Puff Sleeve Top with Nathalie Part 1 of 2

Ready to go beyond beginner knitting?

Learn to make a Loopy Mango puff sleeve top in this two-part course with Nathalie following the Puff Sleeve Top sweater pattern, a lovely transition top from late winter into early spring! It’s a great project to learn about simple sweater construction.

The Puff Sleeve Top is knit bottom-up and in pieces. You will separately knit identical front and back pieces before seaming them together at the shoulders. Next, you will pick up stitches for the armholes and knit the sleeves. You will finish by seaming the sides beneath the arms.

Check our in-shop sample in Dream, 100% merino wool, for inspiration! You should be comfortable knitting and purling.

Teacher: Nathalie Probst
Class Size: min 2 and max 5
Class fee $120, for two 2-hour sessions on 2/15 and 2/22, and the sweater pattern, but does not include yarn. Do not buy the pattern directly.

Materials fee: We kindly request that you purchase your yarn for class from us, which helps our business sustainability! You will get 10% off your yarn for class, as well as needles for class if needed. You can choose to use Dream, Big Cotton or Mohair So Soft (mohair being a little trickier to work with, so recommended for Advanced Beginners and up)! Please come by in the days/weeks before class to shop for your yarn and use your discount. This will also help us email you the correct pattern that you need for class (based on yarn chosen).

Please bring:

  • Print out of Puff Sleeve Top pattern with you to class as we don’t have a printer in-store. We recommend a hard copy but you can bring a digital file and use an e-reader/iPad if that works well for you.

  • Needles and notions, unless you’d like to purchase them at Yarn Farm. You will get 10% off any yarn and/or supplies purchased for class.

Regrets, there are no make ups for missed classes.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund less credit card processing fee (effective 4/11/23) is provided for any cancellation up to one week before the class date. Refund is less these fees because they are non-refundable fees charged to us, and since you can keep the pattern even if you need to cancel. Credit towards another class is provided for any cancellation made from six days through the day before the class date. No credit or refunds issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund.
