Amigurumi for Advanced Beginner Crocheters

Two hour session offered on 2/27 or 3/20 (choose one date)

Ready to go beyond beginner crochet?

Learn to crochet amigurumi using a kit in this two-hour session. Amigurumi is a cute, stuffed crocheted toy. Jocelyn will take you step by step through the steps to make your choice of a cute companion from the kits we have available at Yarn Farm Kingston. Choose from our kits (max value $15; or apply this value towards a pricier kit).

Amigurumi kits look like toys for kids, but crocheting amigurumi can be surprisingly challenging! We got you, and have tips and resources to share. You should be comfortable with basic crochet stitches: chain stitches, single and double crochet and slip stitches. This is not a beginner how-to-crochet class.

Kits come with an appropriate sized crochet hook. That said, bring your own hooks if you have any. The crochet hooks included in kits are often plastic or metal and may be less comfortable than the hooks you can buy individually.
