I Love You Highland Cow

  • 21 W. Strand St. Kingston US (map)

Three sessions on Fridays 3/7, 3/14 and 3/21 from 6-7pm!

Ready to go beyond beginner crochet?

This March you’ll crochet your own Highland Cow to love! We will meet on three Fridays in March: 3/7, 3/14 and 3/21 from 6-7pm and Jocelyn will guide you through the pattern instructions as planned below. After the hourlong class, you'll have the option to stay longer to continue hooking and hanging out with other Highland Cow fans! Jocelyn will be available for help during this time.

Our plan: Class 1 - crochet four legs and start belly. Class 2 - continue belly and body and start head. Class 3 - complete head, add safety eyes, make horns, ears and tail. Finish your Highland Cow in class 3 or at home, depending on your pace.

Kit comes with an appropriate sized crochet hook (G). That said, bring your own hooks if you have any! The crochet hooks included in kits are often plastic or metal and may be less comfortable than the hooks you can buy individually. If you would like to buy a hook from Yarn Farm you’ll have 10% off your purchase while a student in this class.

This class is for advanced beginner crocheters. You should know how to chain stitch, slip stitch, and make single crochet stitches. Some experience seaming your crochet fabric is helpful but not required.

Teacher: Jocelyn Songco

Class Size: min 2 and max 10

Class fee $100, includes Highland Cow amigurumi kit with yarn, pair of safety eyes, crochet hook size G, tapestry needle, and full color pattern booklet. Kit does not include stuffing; Yarn Farm will provide this as part of your class fee.

Regrets, there are no make ups for missed classes.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund less credit card processing fee (effective 4/11/23) is provided for any cancellation up to one week before the class date. Credit towards another class is provided for any cancellation made from six days through the day before the class date. No credit or refunds issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund.
