Are you a lover and reader of tarot decks, Lenormand, oracle decks and the like? Or are you curious and completely new to cartomancy? In any case, if you are a knitter or crocheter, the Knitter’s Oracle deck is a great one for you!
In this ninety-minute session, Jocelyn will give a brief overview of the different types of decks: tarot vs. Lenormand vs. oracle, and then we’ll unbox our Knitter’s Oracle deck and learn about the cards’ meanings as proposed by the artist, Alexandra. We’ll also consider, as crafters ourselves, how we can look at the drawn images and use our intuition to draw our own interpretations from the cards.
Jocelyn will also share a few spreads that you can use with this deck based on tarot and Lenormand, as well as resources to go deeper. Cards such as these are fabulous tools to prompt new ways of thinking and seeing the world, as opposed to telling you what will be in your future. That said, oracle cards can give you guidance on what may come to pass, absent any intention or involvement by you.
Finally, Jocelyn will share ideas on how you can integrate your crafting with readings with the Knitter’s Oracle deck such as making your own tarot cloth.
Active teaching is expected to take 1 hr to 1 hr 15 min, after which point you are invited to stay longer to give each other practice readings!
Your class fee will cover instruction and a Knitter’s Oracle deck to keep (retail price $40). Cancellation Policy: Full refund less credit card processing fee (effective 4/11/23) is provided for any cancellation up to one week before the class date. Credit towards another class is provided for any cancellation made from six days through the day before the class date. No credit or refunds issued after this time, including no-shows on the day-of. If the class is cancelled by us because we have not met the stated minimum number of students, you will receive a full refund.
